For confidentiality reasons I cannot show photos, videos, source code or links for this project.

Role: Training Simulator Developer (Bachelor's Work Placement)
Timeline & Team: 1 years, 6-person development team made up of Developers, 3D & 2D Artists, and a Project Manager
Engine & Platform: Unity 3D, PC

An immersive 3D simulator, with a 2D & 3D vessel blueprint view, aiming to teach the students of "La Marine Nationale" the procedures for the identification of suspicious packages on a navy vessel.

What I worked on

  • Real-Time Pressure Simulation: Implemented a 3D environment simulation visualising the pressure distribution of an explosion in a navy vessel, taking into account open doors leading to hallways, rooms and exterior hatches.
  • 2D & 3D camera controller: Modular 2D and 3D camera controller and system for handling transitions between perspective, vessel layout and respective user interface.
  • Progress data save/load system: File I/O saving and loading of game progress and current simulation state data, for persistence and data tracking across iterations.
